THE MOUNTAIN

We climbed the mountain near Hippo Valley - Joseph, David, Leonard and I.
It was VERY steep!!! I would guess about 45 degrees - no exaggeration!!!!
You can see from the pics. It was a tough climb, but the views were worth it. It took us about 30 mins to walk up, this included stopping so the guys could use their slingshot and stones to hit Joe's favourite fruit, 'Creamatata' and collect them to eat along the way.

Zimbabwe week 8

Scooby is about 2 months old now, still a cute little puppy, but about twice as big as when we got him. Rasta has moved house up the road (to the new house) as he had 3 strikes with the chickens and struck out! We thought his 4th attempt might end up with a dead chicken, so we took him up to the new house that has no chickens for him to catch. We still go visit him every day :)Michelle is pulling a cute face in this pic. I've now taught her to spin around in circles until she falls down, then she gets back up and does it again - she loves it!!!

Week 7 Mteri Lodge

We stayed at Mteri Safari Lodges for 2 nights over Easter. The accomodation was beautiful, with a thatched roof and outside shower. We saw lots of animals - giraffes, impala's, elands, kudu, worthog, jackal, zebra and birds. Also there is a leopard, buffalo and crocodiles, but we didn't see them - kinda happy about that too!!!We went on a safari drive in the safari car around the property - very exciting! We got very close to the animals and took some great pics :)
