Week 11

This week unfortunately I got very sick, actually I first got sick up in Harare, I still don't know if it was gastro or malaria - apparently they have similar symptoms. So this week I've been on malaria tablets all week - NOT very nice, they make you not be able to hear, feel sick and unable to eat. Anyways, the week finally ended and when I finished taking the tablets I felt much better the next day! (These pics are all taken the next day hehe)

I also had another emergency trip to the hospital at night during that week, I had an allergic reaction (maybe my tablets combined with pasta sauce, not really sure) but it was pretty scary, needed to have a drip and everything. But it all worked out well, thanks to the doctor, Joseph, his mum and Tapiwa (Taps sang baa baa black sheep with me while i was having the drip put in - I'm sure everyone knows how much i hate needles!!!)

Week 10 - harare

On the way to take David back to Peterhouse school, we went via Mutare where we stopped for lunch at Nandos - very yummy! We also went past the 'Sydney Harbour Bridge' hehe Just a smaller version.

Our first morning at Harare we went to visit Joe's cousins, Precious and S nut, and also P's new 8 month old baby girl, Chantelle. She fell asleep on me, hehe, very cute!

Vic Falls Crocodile Farm

We went to the Crocodile farm at Vic Falls, it was just down the road from our hotel - Elephant Hills. It was pretty cool. The guys feeding the crocs were either crazy or brave, they just walk into the parts with all the big crocs with gumboots on and kick them out of the way! Amazing!
